The services offered are designed to empower individuals, connect them with like-minded people and organizations, and create a personalized and safe experience on the Jivan platform. Here is an overview of the key services provided:

   - Utilizes data to personalize your News Feed, video platform, Marketplace, and search results.

   - Helps you discover and connect with people, groups, businesses, and organizations that align with your interests.
   - Provides suggestions for groups to join, events to attend, and Jivan Pages to follow or message.

3. Express Yourself and Communication:
   - Empowers users to express themselves through various mediums, such as status updates, photos, videos, stories, messages, and calls.
   - Enables the creation of events or groups and offers insights on content engagement.

4. Content Discovery:
   - Displays personalized ads, offers, and sponsored content to introduce users to relevant products, services, and content.
   - Supports businesses and organizations in reaching their target audience.

5. Safety and Security:
   - Prioritizes the safety, security, and integrity of the platform and its users.
   - Uses advanced systems, dedicated teams, and collaborations to combat harmful conduct and maintain a secure community.
   - Takes appropriate actions, including content removal, feature restrictions, and cooperation with law enforcement when necessary.

How Our Services Are Funded:

Jivan offers its services with the commitment to plant two saplings at your home every six months, free of charge.. Additionally, the platform is funded through personalized ads and other commercial content. By using Jivan Products, you agree to the following funding model:

1. Personalized Ads and Sponsored Content:
   - In lieu of direct payments, businesses and organizations pay Jivan to promote personalized ads and sponsored content on and off the platform.
   - Your personal data, including information about your activities and interests, is used to display ads that are more relevant to you.

2. Privacy Protection:
   - Jivan prioritizes privacy in its personalized ads system, ensuring that relevant and useful ads are shown without revealing your identity to advertisers.
   - Your personal data is not sold to advertisers. Advertisers provide information about their business goals and target audience, and Jivan displays ads to users who match the specified criteria.

3. Anonymous Data Sharing:
   - Jivan shares anonymized reports with advertisers, offering insights into the performance of their ads.
   - General demographic and interest information is provided to help advertisers understand their audience better, without disclosing direct, personally identifiable information.

4. User Controls:
   - Users have control over the types of ads and advertisers they encounter on Jivan.
   - You can manage the information used to determine the ads shown to you and customize your ad preferences.

5. Privacy Policy:
   - Detailed information about how Jivan collects and uses your personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.
   - The Privacy Policy outlines the safeguards in place to protect your data and explains the permissions required for specific data usage.

Jivan is committed to maintaining user privacy while providing a platform that connects individuals with relevant content and supports environmental awareness. You can exercise control over your ad experience and learn more about data collection and usage in the Privacy Policy.

Your Commitments to Jivan and Our Community

We provide these services to you and others to help advance our mission. In exchange, we need you to make the following commitments:

1. Who Can Use Jivan
   - Provide for your account the same name that you use in everyday life.
   - Provide accurate information about yourself.
   - Only create one account (your own) and use it for personal purposes.
   - Do not share your password, give access to your Jivan account to others, or transfer your account to anyone else without our permission.
   - Jivan cannot be used by individuals under 13 years old, convicted sex offenders, those with disabled accounts due to violations of our Terms, Community Standards, or other terms and policies, and individuals prohibited from receiving our products, services, or software under applicable laws.

2. What You Can Share and Do on Jivan Products
   - Do not violate the Terms, Community Standards, or other applicable policies.
   - Do not engage in unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent activities.
   - Share content that you own or have the necessary rights to share.
   - Do not upload viruses, spam, or engage in activities that disable or impair the proper working of our services.
   - Do not access or collect data using automated means without permission.
   - Do not misuse reporting, flagging, dispute, or appeals channels.
   - Jivan can remove or restrict access to content violating these provisions and may suspend or disable your account for such conduct.

   Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report content or conduct violating rights or our terms.

3. The Permissions You Give Us
   - Permission to Use Content: You retain ownership of content you create and share. However, you grant Jivan a license to use, modify, and distribute the content solely for providing and improving our products and services.
   - Permission to Use Your Name and Profile Information: We can use your name, profile picture, and information about your actions with ads and sponsored content without compensation.
   - Permission to Update Software: If you use or download our software, you give us permission to download and install updates.

4. Limits on Using Our Intellectual Property
   - If you use content covered by our intellectual property rights (e.g., images, designs), we retain all rights to that content. Use our copyrights or trademarks only as permitted or with our written permission.
   - Obtain written permission to modify, translate, or reverse-engineer our products.

Jivan reserves the right to take action, including account suspension or termination, for violations of these commitments.

Additional Provisions

1. Updating Our Terms

We are committed to improving our services and adding new features to enhance your experience on Jivan. This means we may need to update these Terms periodically to accurately reflect our services, ensure a safe and secure user experience, and comply with applicable laws. We'll only make changes if necessary, reasonable, and in consideration of your interests.

We'll notify you at least 30 days before implementing any changes to these Terms, giving you an opportunity to review them. If you continue using our Products after the updated Terms take effect, you're bound by them. If you disagree with the changes and prefer not to be part of the Jivan community, you can delete your account at any time.

2. Account Suspension or Termination

Jivan is designed to be a welcoming and safe space for self-expression. If, in our judgment, you seriously or repeatedly violate our Terms, including Community Standards, we may suspend or permanently disable your access to Jivan Products, or delete your account. Account deletion may also occur if you infringe on others' intellectual property rights or for legal reasons.

If we take such action, we'll inform you and provide options for a review. However, there are situations where immediate action is necessary due to legal constraints, technical limitations, or potential harm to the community.

Upon deleting your account or if we disable or delete it, certain provisions of these Terms will still apply.

3. Limits on Liability

While we strive to offer the best Products, we acknowledge that they come with no guarantees of always being safe, secure, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and under no circumstances will we be liable for lost profits, revenues, information, or data, or for consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages.

4. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, we aim to provide clear rules for resolution. If you're a consumer, Indian laws apply to claims or disputes related to these Terms or Jivan Products. If a dispute arises, you may resolve it in any competent court in India with jurisdiction over the claim.

For any claims Jivan files against you, both parties agree that disputes must be resolved exclusively in the Indore District Court for the District of Madhya Pradesh. You submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts, and the laws of the State of Madhya Pradesh will govern these Terms.

5. Other

- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Jivan regarding Product use, superseding any prior agreements.
- Some Products may have supplemental Terms, which will become part of our agreement with you. In case of conflicts, supplemental Terms prevail.
- Unenforceable portions of these Terms will be amended to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will stay in effect.
- Failure to enforce any Terms does not constitute a waiver.
- You may not transfer rights or obligations without our consent.
- Designate a legacy contact to manage your account if memorialized.
- These Terms do not grant third-party beneficiary rights.
- Our rights and obligations under these Terms are freely assignable.
- We reserve the right to change your username in specific circumstances.
- We appreciate feedback but are not obligated to compensate or keep it confidential.
- We retain all rights not expressly granted.

1. Community Standards: These guidelines set expectations for the content you share on Jivan and your activities across our platform.

2. Commercial Terms: If you engage in commercial or business activities on our Products, such as advertising, app development, or selling goods, these terms apply to you.

3. Community Payment Terms: This set of terms comes into play for payments conducted on or through Jivan Products.

4. Commerce Policies: Guidelines outlining the policies applicable when you offer products or services for sale on Jivan.

5. Music Guidelines: If you share content containing music on any Jivan Products, these guidelines provide relevant policies.

6. Advertising Policies: Partners advertising on Jivan must adhere to these policies, specifying acceptable ad content.

7. Self-Serve Ad Terms: Applicable when using self-serve advertising interfaces for creating, submitting, or delivering ads or sponsored content.

8. Jivan Pages, Groups, and Events Policy:** If you manage a page, group, or event on Jivan, or use it for promotions, these guidelines apply.

9. Jivan Platform Policy: Terms governing the use of APIs, SDKs, tools, plugins, and other technologies enabling development and data interaction with MetaProducts.

10. Developer Payment Terms: Developers of applications using Jivan Payments are subject to these specific terms.

11. Jivan Brand Resources: Guidelines for using Jivan trademarks, logos, and screenshots.

12. Recommendations Guidelines: Standards for content recommendations and non-recommendations on Jivan.

13. Live Policies: Policies applying to all content broadcast on Jivan Live.
